My lilies scattered everywhere, how desperately I hoped you’d stay.

But you didn’t care, stamping on my petals in your way.

A tulip is what I thought you gave to me, when a rose was my reality.

When all my faith and hope was lost I came to you with one last cause.

My hand stretched far, I hoped you take...

But without a hesitation you threw my sedum away.

With summer ending and autumn here the last statice petal fades away.
