Hurting you has been my biggest mistake
And it has left me with a great heartache

And it's sad that you are not a part of my fate
But I hope you are happy and you are doing fine
And you deserve the best because you are so divine

I know that it is difficult for you to forgive
And that you will remember this for as long as you live
I realize that you cannot smile and pretend
And that your broken heart cannot mend
