Today I watched a human die;
Everything went clear, both truth and lie.
I sat for hours pondering my sight;
I sat until the sun lost all its’ light.
And as my thoughts changed to revelations;
And all my questions became translations;
I felt the chill of sleep, my hands were tied.
And as evening fell, my soul had died.
So now I sit here in my tomb;
With a new life in my womb.
Trying to spend the time I’ve left;
And stop myself from committing theft.
I now write to all who wish to know:
The why, the where, most important how;
A simple truth can become a lie;
Just as simple as watching a human die.
