I drew the outline with memories
Struggled a lot to get it just right
Filled the background with your laughter
And found myself losing the fight
I colored the sky with your smile, so it would always shine
I drew your face with the most beautiful words I knew
Knowing it would never end up even close to looking like you

With less decisive strokes I drew a questionmark
Careful, hoping that it will ignite a spark
