Many moons of loyal toil
on a larger body

 
in a belief system
an illiterate could decipher

 
the soul wanders in the vacuum
of inadequacy's
invisible yoke
the body always stands
prepared to walk up
onto the victory podium to accept
affirmation's heavy medallion

 
the skin boils dry
of the senses on full throttle
and seek an explanation
to an answer that is already there
 

a brain loaded with denial
to have admittance to
the forgiving light of the waterfalls

 
the giggling electric impulses
are transformed into a direct current
that only leads to a dead end

 
with the bad coverage to
enlightenment's luminous penthouse studio
where shades are captured with white paint

 
I merely apprehend tiny fragments of
the reality that I have been a part of
and can therefore not learn
if I belong in the surreal picture

 
of a Self that sprawl outside the frame
