Juan de Marco's Lament

When I lay down for the night
My pillow have the scent of a thousand women
All passed me by and left a piece like heaven
I more and  more lost ,  not at rest

The strands of hair I still feel brushing against my chest
Feet touching the hardwood floor barely making a sound

Where did you all go , you creations of catlike goddesses

Lucid skin in every shade of color
Eyes in every tone and shape
Loins that opens to the touch

Now I sleep alone waiting for different company
Like a beached whale awaits I the hooded guest
Welcomed by an aging man with only a past
And memories slowly fading relentlessly

I crave the love that is no more
Yesterday's desire drowns me
I lost myself in the garden
A very long time ago
