Last line of defence

When no other friends

Can drag me out of this madness

the car flash by, the thoughts run wild

Insomnia,

a day flash by,

of spring sun,

behind clouds of wine

the dread day after

why? doesn’t it warm my thoughts

why? doesn’t it heal my soul

why? Do I live to die?

claim back reality

claim back my sanity

claim back the life that lost
