In a Stockholm Café
I was sitting in my usual Stockholm café
and ordered coffee and bread
I was thinking of the poor and of the rich genteel
and in between of the world's unfed
Yes, I was wondering about a great deal
and my thoughts went kinda in this way :
Why did Eve take a bite of the forbidden meal?
(You remember both the time and the place)
I wondered when I saw the sinister deluge
and the masses of people and the cult idol statue
I never got an answer to the question I asked, but
I started to realize what the thing was really about :
The Serpent's head is now forever crushed
and the balls and chains the Lord has unlashed
men började ana vad saken gällde :
Ormens huvud för alltid är krossat
och bojor som band har Herren lossat
