You and I we are like magnets opposites attract,
either we are as close as we can
or we turn around and push eachother far away apart,
but the magnetism's there even for separated hearts

like a walk in the park watching a leaf fall thinking of you
watching one still in the tree wondering if its hanging there long
or the next to be
waiting for our time to come,
love that once beautifully begun as friends
feeling you inside me,
forgiving hard times and words
as I hoped and know you done me and wished it to be differently
but fate has chosen some things that were not our choice

like magnets longing to be in magnetisms sparks together
to be as one are we
as it was in the beginning and shall be in the end....
the magnets amen
from everything you learn so use it to build a bridge
to your heart's friend
and not quit and give up in the end then nothing you learnt
from everything
just wishing for the time between to be good and short
and painful hurt to end
alone we are and waiting for times to get better together
accepting both our pride and smiling content and happily
