High, most of the day

Twenty hours, spending time in the same seat

Down below, lonely planet, blue sea

Four engines roar

Can be heard from a far

You can hear the sound falling from the sky

Flying is quite a thrill

The world is so small

And I am so tall

I could, if I would, touch the ground

Some say that’s impossible

At 30 000ft above the ground

In life, time may rush by like a speeding train

But I settle for a route closer to the sky

Closer to the infinity of things

Where time stands still

Before, I was somebody else

Standing lonely staring at the sea

Falling in love with the horizon

Then I met you, flying the friendly skies

Now I am high, where the clouds kiss the sky
