They meet
from aberrational roads
far and wide
from crooked routes
to no avail just before

They look inside
read the book of life
sobbing to eachother's
scar forming moments

They hunger
the skin tags of their hearts
tentacles through the room
the still remaining

between them the light melts
it becomes to glow
and sweat are forced to surface
hands are still grasping for air

the wintersilent, birdsong lacking yeartide
give way like cirrus clouds
before the approaching storm
and surges like a waterfall

a lucky bird
settles down at the writing desk
in the cool of the bower,
above their heads
a feather, golden powdered falls

in the shadow of the fallen feather
their toilworn plumage-rays are interlaced
the gapes between the rays are sealed
to new bearing wings

They fly
alone no more
in the search for bearing wind
in their mutual breath
Zephyrus are tamed

at the next dawn
they land upon shores
flooded together with worn-down
mountains of grief
makes deep marks for time and eternity

The Feathershadow
the talon-claws of the Bird of Phoenix
deeply planted in their
astrayed hearts
