Cannot you

bring me down to the ground

Hold me tight to the Earth

Say those words

whisper them in my ear

Them which are the only thing I

want to hear

 

That I am so very

similar to a flower

 

So I arise repeatedly, again and again

Turning my face to the sun

Smelling like honeysuckle

on a summer's night

although it is now

spring

Our journey begins as you rise

as a rose tree in the grassy desert

and

Branch touches  branch

 

touch
 

close to

small source

 

Mouth to Mouth

 

and the Earth is

still  round

 

 

So, cannot you push me down

to  Earth and

whisper those words

tight by my ear

Those who are the only ones I want to hear

 

That I am so substantially

similar
to
a flower

 

Then

Summer may arrive

 

So come by, so slowly sapping rising awakening

wandering growing

to meeting point

adjacent the

mild protection

of soil surface

breathing

Near the small source near

Branch touches branch

touch

from soil under sun

nourishing when close close nourishing 

so close

so near

attach

touch
