I have had many choices made for me
not chosen myself
Dreams, plans the whole future mapped
in front of me
told this would be for my own good
it would be wonderful

Finally I woke up
realizing
I was living other peoples dreams
other peoples choices
other peoples plans
not my own
not for me
not by me

What is life really
if I dont live it
on MY terms
according to MY dreams
make MY OWN plans
make my own mistakes
learn from them
grow my own way

If I dont master my own future
I am as well dead
If I want to live
I must live as i choose
