I’m in love with my favourite book
I mean just look at her,
her face by the shelf, the way she
shivers when I mention her plot.
Her title has a beauty mark right there
on page 99.
And she is always far from gone and
close to words. I read her mind like wow!  


We cuddle in bed
   We both talk in our sleep
We laugh out loud
   We hold hands
and we kiss in public


That’s why I ripped these pages out
I’ve been dying to write you a poem
that never felt more alive
than one poet to another ...
