Den här dikten kommer utav att jag tog jag upp en ordbok, blundade och slog upp tre ord på måfå. Jag bildgooglade orden och tog den första bilden för varje ord. Dessa tre bilder blev min inspiration.

Colours in the snow

I'm walking in a landscape
So totally covered with snow
Where nothing wild and colourful
Can ever live and grow

The white is everywhere I look
All life is gone and wasted
The cold in the air is so intense
That I can almost taste it

The snow is stretching on forever
Like a never-ending sheet
And everything is deadly quiet
'Cept the crunch beneath my feet

Then suddenly I turn my head
And gasp at what I see
A girl is sitting in the snow
Beneath a sleeping tree

She only wears a deep blue dress
A red book in her hand
And she is like the fairest flower
In this godforsaken land

She sits there shining with her colours
Her head is slightly bent
The air is filled with sudden warmth
And with her lovely scent

Slowly, then, she rises her head
And looks into my eyes
Her smile is one of gentleness
And warmth that never dies

Her lips are so intensely red
Just like the book she reads
And she is much more beautiful
Than crowns and jewels and beads

Her eyes are blue, just like her dress
The blues blue I've seen
She sits there barefoot in the snow
And looks just like a queen

And how intense her colours
And oh, how warm her gaze
She's like a velvet blanket
In a cold and frozen place

I blink my eyes and she is gone
Like were she never there
The world is once more white and dead
And chilly is the air

But for a moment there I had it
Like a fire in the night
I held an image full of colours
In a world of only white
