pieces and chunks
thrown together and smashed apart
by a natural force
strong and relentless

throwing all I have
around
smashing
tearing
ripping
all I am
all I ever can be

a fury with gales
driven by emotion and frustrations
a storm in my heart
wishing for the calm
wishing and longing
for that one
who can calm the storm
lift my spirits
and relieve my heart
from its storm
and give it peace
