I have a friend whom I sorrowfully forget
from time to time
and I sorrowfully write too few letters
from time to time
but when I think about her
from time to time
my heart smiles some.

Hello my friend, whom I sorrowfully forgot
here is one of the letters I wrote not
and it is full of warmish thoughts about you
and my heart smiles nonstop.

I always think my life is all the same
and that there can´t be much for you to hear
And all the same I feel a bit ashamed
that I forgot to wish you A Happy New Year!

The years pass by and somewhere along the line
the news are no more new and all feels used and old
but who am I? to sit here and decide
which news are good and which should not be told?
